I am an engineer, engineering communicator and educator.
I am fascinated by the engineered environment, and I share that fascination whenever I get the chance, through teaching, presenting and in this blog.
I am also fascinated by the way people learn, and I am particularly interested in exploring how educators can use the built environment as a teaching resource to help individuals develop their personal world view.
Eiffelover is the place where these interests come together.
In my day job as Director of Think Up, I am responsible for the development of new educational tools and events designed to support learning in the construction, engineering and STEM sectors.
The rest of the time, when I’m not talking about engineering, I do a lot of swing dancing, including running Brace Yourself, an alternative swing dance teaching and performance group. For more on my dance stuff check out Lindyswap and Brace Yourself on Facebook.
